The capstone for my last year at Arizona State was the self-challenge of constructing one of my own designs. My Pierrot, a melancholic clown and androgynous dreamer, was influenced by a combination of my joy in my gender transition and expression, my model's clown training and persona, and our experiences of ridiculing gender-conformity.
